When a king chose glory over mercy, Vorgar reached beyond mortal power, calling upon forgotten gods whose flames promised victory without consequence. The fire answered. His enemies fell, but so too did his people. Their souls became the price of his triumph.
Now he walks between fire and shadow, never truly alone. Every blaze carries whispers of those he could not save, and every victory deepens the curse he was willing to bear.
