Johnny Rampant background and history
Background
G'Day guys, I'm Johnny, so I thought id take the time to tell you a bit about myself, in my own words no ai. after all, none of this is possible without your support, so again thank you for stopping by.
OK so as you can tell I make minis! haha, but I didn't always, the first half of my life I worked construction which saw me build everything from houses, high-rises, bridges and tunnels. In 2010 my younger brother passed away, I tried to carry on and get on with life but everything had changed, and there was no going back... I remember at that time a thought came into my head, it was the same thought id had back in 2001 when i first saw the cave troll in LOTR, "I could do that for a living"....
So a long story short that was the start of my journey into life as a professional artist. since that time Ive been blessed to meet and work with some of the best VFX individuals and teams around the world, including Weta, and ILM, and been a part of maybe around 30 major Hollywood movies as a senior creature and character artist. I even got that LOTR credit though it was on the series barely worth watching haha, but still I'll call it close enough to a completed circle there for film. Lets make some cool stuff!
My Goals
My primary goal with this business is to produce the art that naturally comes out of me, and release it to this crazy talented community of painters. I see it as a collaboration in the end and I cant wait to see what you guys do with these guys, please tag me so i can see your paint jobs!
